EKOPEL is based on a technology that allows the material to be applied to the bathtub not with a brush or sprayer but by pouring. The material spreads itself along the walls and the bottom of the tub under its own weight, leveling out in the process. Recent discoveries in the field of chemistry enabled us to develop the special formula of EKOPEL 2k.

The key points of EKOPEL technology and its difference from other known liquid coating methods are:

1. Single-Layer Application: Coatings applied with a brush or sprayer require at least two layers for full coverage. EKOPEL 2k needs only one layer.
2. No Harsh Odor: Thanks to the latest chemical advances, we have completely eliminated harmful components like toluene, xylene, ethyl acetate, methyl ethyl ketone, etc., which produce strong odors. The main ingredients are mildly scented, undiluted active substances.
3. No Physical Effort Required: Achieving an even distribution of the coating with traditional methods requires strength and attention. In contrast, Ekopel 2K is simply poured onto the bathtub and distributes itself automatically.
4. Smooth Finish: Achieving a smooth surface with a brush or roller requires significant skill, and the result is often not perfect. In contrast, EKOPEL 2k achieves an impressive finish. The new coating has a thickness of about 0.5 mm on the walls and about 5 mm on the bottom, which evens out irregularities. We just pour the new material onto the tub instead of painting it, requiring approximately 3.5 kg of material.
5. Epoxy-Based: EKOPEL 2k consists of two main components that need to be mixed shortly before use. The epoxy base ensures good adhesion to the old surface, unlike acrylic paints. The surface becomes white, glossy, and abrasion-resistant.
6. Easy to Polish: If small scratches appear on the bathtub after several years of use, they can be easily removed by waxing.
